The PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker is on its way and the big news is that the Main Event is going to carry a whopping $10 million prize pool guarantee. That is an increase of $2 million on last year’s guarantee and as you will realise, these guarantees are usually broken.
Last year had a guarantee of $8 million but brought a true prize pool of $10.6, so we can only imagine what the true amount will be this time around.
The full schedule has yet to be released but PokerStars have already started up their satellite program for many of the events due to play out in the WCOOP. There are satellites that you can enter for as little as one FFP and as much as $215 being set up on PokerStars as we speak.
You can keep an eye out for the schedule and any news regarding the WCOOP by heading over here, and we will definitely let you all know once we know when it is available. The WCOOP is the largest and most popular online tournament series around and is often called ‘online WSOP’, so if you are an avid player you will not want to miss out on the plethora of events that are going to be heading your way.
