After two weeks of intense online tournament poker action the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker is seeing the last of its events starting today. There is still more than $9 million in guarantees on offer for the remaining three events to be played out today culminating in the $3 million that is on offer for the SCOOP – H Main Event.
For those that didn’t know, the SCOOP runs each event three times with each having a different buy-in and prize pool. This makes the series accessible for everyone from low level grinders right the way up to the high stakes professional players.
So there are three events left to be played today, except each is played three times. This means we actually have nine events yet to see with each giving players one of the last chances of SCOOP glory this year.
Event 43 will start preceedings with the No-Limit Hold’em 8-Max event offering buy-ins of $27, $215, and $2,100. Following that event will be the one that you have all been waiting for in the Main Event. Again, split into three different buy-ins of $109, $1,050 and $10,000 this is the event that will be awarding the most money throughout this championship.
The final event from 2014 will be the Wrap Up event that will see a little more than $1 million in guarantees on offer. You will also know by now that those guarantees are often broken so we should expect to see even higher payouts.
Check out the schedule of the final three events today. Please keep in mind that the timing is E.T, so you have a good few hours yet.
Good luck and have fun!
