PokerStars Team Pro Liv Boeree yesterday wrote a blog post on PokerStarsblog.com regarding her post WSOP holiday up in the mountains of the Death Valley National Park. We wrote an article about it based on her tweets when she was actually there not so long ago but it is nice to read more about what happened through her blog posting.

Boeree starts by claiming that although the WSOP didn’t go to well for her poker wise, that she had an amazing time nonetheless, due to having a really good summer of partying and adventures. She then goes on about her trip to Death Valley.
She said “I took a road trip through the Sierra Nevada mountains. A whole group of us were meant to be going, but some people flaked out at the last minute, so it ended up being just my friend and me.”
“We bought sleeping bags and a couple of roll mats, not even bothering with a tent. Our journey started on my birthday and we drove through Death Valley, stopping to take a hike. It was 120 degrees minimum out there and we took a dirt trail that winds up and up and up into the mountains. We thought it was pretty narrow to walk, but when we got near the top, we came upon a van. It was a group of older people, there must have been eight of them, and somehow they got all the way up there in a van!” she went on.
Sleeping under the stars without a tent might seem a little risky for some, but Liv Boeree loved it and seemingly wouldn’t have it any other way during their trek. She further explained about her trip before talking briefly about returning home to London in order to prepare for the European Poker Tour stop that will be held there soon.
She even spoke about one of the UK’s best online tournament players Chris Moorman helping her with putting together some rather complicated rooftop furniture at her home, though he did eventually manage to do it apparently.
“Oh, this sofa! It had so many pieces and took forever to put together but somehow he did it. Katie was wonderful as well. She’s an incredible cook, which is great because I don’t know how to do anything like that! That’s what you’re in for when you’re a guest in my flat–I’ll put you to work!”
