Brammer Back At The Top Of UK & Ireland Poker Rankings

top 3

We never thought it would be too long before Chris Brammer finally found his way back at the top of the UK & Ireland Poker Rankings. With the way he has been playing in the last few weeks and literally terrorising other players online it was just a matter of time.

This week saw him finally move himself right to the top of the pile which was where he was for such a long time beforehand. His form has been nothing short of remarkable over the past few weeks with him taking down some excellent scores online.

One score was for $6,862.67 for a second place in a $55 tournament on PokerStars that was a $20,000 guaranteed prize pool event. He then had another second place payout in a $109 No Limit Hold’em turbo event which was again on PokerStars that brought him $12,636. To top things off nicely he then went and hit a hat trick of runner up placements by finishing second in a $109 re-buy event which paid him $19,514.25.

Wright Falls Back Into Second Place!

The guy he replaced was Marc “dean23price” Wright who has now fallen into that second spot on the rankings, though by only 52.5 points. A margin like that is literally worth just one deep run in an online tournament.

Wright plays a large volume of games on an almost daily basis so it would not be the biggest surprise if he were to be able to pull that number one spot back in again. This means that Brammer needs to keep his momentum going if he wants to cement his position right at the top.

Another player who made a move up the rankings was Ross “RLOG” Loggie who now finds himself in the third spot. He too has had a very impressive week by taking down some serious cashes, one for finishing second which added $6,339,50 to his PokerStars account, this was in a $109 buy-in tournament. The big one for Loggie though was a win in a $55 PokerStars tournament that netted him $20,090,70.

Other players included in the top ten are Mat “matfrankland” Frankland, Jude Ainsworth, Paul “badpab2” Foltyn, David “david1213” Vamplew and Nelius “danceofthedead” Foley.
