Brammer Still Leading The UK And Ireland Online Rankings

With regards to the UK & Ireland online poker tournament rankings, Christopher “NigDawG” Brammer is still certainly the man to catch. He is still keeping himself just in front of his closest rival Marc “dean23price” Wright, though there is still plenty of time for things to change at the top.

The race really is on, with both players taking it extremely seriously. They would both like to obviously be known as the best online tournament player this year, and in Wright’s case he really has upped his volume with regards to playing time.

Brammer may not have secured any massive scores throughout the past week; he did manage a 6th place finish in the PokerStars Sunday High Roller last Sunday which paid him out $3,685 as well as a decent 100 ranking points.

Wright who is currently attempting to chase down Brammer kept up the pressure after yet another impressive week where he managed to cash an astonishing 42 times throughout the week. He didn’t manage to turn any of those performances into a win but he did achieve 5 final tables and a second place finish in the $82 No Limit Hold’em 6-Max Hyper Turbo which paid him $3,481,23.

If he keeps that kind of form up through the next few weeks, he will no doubt be able to catch Brammer in the race to be the number one online tournament player in the UK & Ireland.

Other Movers In The Rankings!

Chris “moorman1” Moorman was the biggest mover in the top ten, after he jumped a good three places from seventh to fourth. He managed to cash in 24 events throughout the week; this included a fourth place finish in a $109 NLHE Turbo event on PokerStars which paid him $4,998,00. He also won an $82 No Limit Hold’em event for $4,404,53 which enlarged both his bank account and points tally.

The Current Top Ten:

1 Chris “NigDawG” Brammer 6535.43

2 Marc “dean23price” Wright 6289.16

3 Ross “RLOG” Loggie 5872.66

4 Chris “moorman1” Moorman 5676.67

5 Mat “matfrankland” Frankland 5621.30

6 Sam “The Squid” Grafton 5600.99

7 Rick “TheClaimeer” Trigg 5407.27

8 Nelius “danceofthefdead” Foley 5369.47

9 David “davidv1213” Vamplew 5300.62

10 Rhys “floppinhel” Jones 5255.27

That top ten really does seem to show that it is going to be one of the top two to take down that achievement, and the race looks like it will go right to the wire. Brammer will need to up the amount of tournaments he plays though if he genuinely wants to counter the charge that Wright is making on that top spot.
