Both World Poker Tour events were back in action again last night as both the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star and WPT Venice Carnival again went about their business of narrowing down the field of players and bringing those that survived one step closer to glory.

Both events were full of action as we are now down to the final table in one and the final two tables in the other. Take a look at how the events panned out below.

WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star Day 3 – Pahuja Leads Final Table Of 6

The World Poker Tour Bay 101 Shooting Star is now just one day away from revealing its new champion after the 36 survivors from Day 2 had to be cut down in size to just the 6 to do battle later tonight. The action was fast and furious and as there had to be 30 eliminations before the final table could be set.

Leading the event going into the final day is Mukul Pahuja after he racked up an impressive 6,470,000 chips on the day. Other names on that final table include Dylan Wilkerson, Nam Le and James Carroll and with $1,256,550 on the line for the winner we expect the action to continue at the standard it already has been throughout this event.

The Final Table Seating And Chip Counts

St 1) Nam Le – 1,715,000

St 2) Garrett Greer – 1,235,000

St 3) Shaun Suller – 4,200,000

WPT Venice Carnival Day 3 – Isaia Leads Final Two Tables

Over in Venice at the World Poker Tour Venice Carnival the action has now been whittled down to just two tables and 18 players remaining. This number was reached after the 36 players that started the day were charged with trying to build up their stacks sufficiently to stay in the event.

Leading the event right now is Alessio Isaia with his 461,500 stack giving him a 30k advantage over Sotirios Koutoupas who occupies second place with 431,500. Also still in with a great shot are the likes of Sam Trickett, Steve Watts and Andrea Dato, so despite being down to 18 this event is far from over just yet.

Among those that now have no chance of winning the $145,859 first place payout after being eliminated on Day 3 is Simon Hemsworth, Charles Chattha, Kara Scott and Giocomo Fundaro.
