The action at the high stakes tables at both PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker was once again rolling along nicely over the past couple of days with there being the usual big winners and of course big losers too.
Viktor “Isildur1” Blom managed to again bring home a decent profit after banking $247.4k at the $400/$800 No Limit Holdem tables against the likes of Alex “IReadYrSoul” Millar, “KPR16” and “KidPoker705”.
The largest slice of those profits came from Millar as he lost $204k in total to Blom in a session that lasted no longer than thirty minutes. That session involved a huge pot that saw Blom take $210.9k when he hit top pair on the river.
There was an even bigger pot too as Blom secures another $243.6k, after again making the better hand on the river with a two pair that was better than his opponents.
Blom was not the biggest winner through this period though as that honour fell to “Denoking” and his take home score of $492.7k. This was also achieved on the $400/$800 No Limit Holdem tables and he was even up another $250k on top at one point but lost it in a later session.
His profits came from a selection of players throughout the session such as “MalACEsia”, “HelicopterBen”, “Trueteller” and “Rhje”. Though he took home the most profit during these sessions he wasn’t able to lay claim to the largest pots, with “MalACEsia” being the player to take down the largest of them.
He gets all of his chips into the middle with pocket kings and would have been dismayed to see his opponent hit a nut flush on the flop with his Ax-Kx. However, the turn and river both brick which gives “MalACEsia” the unlikely win.
Despite that win, “MalACEsia” had a bad day at the tables and eventually finished up more than $500k down. That makes him the day’s biggest loser, though he will certainly be back for more, we are sure.
Other winners yesterday included Patrik “FindaGrind” Antonius, “Tight-Man1” and “Trueteller” who all took home $187.1k, $216.9k and $207.1k respectively.
The Highest Profits
Denoking – (+$492.7k)
Isildur1 – (+$247.4k)
Tight-Man1 – (+$216.9k)
Trueteller – (+$207.1k)
Join us again tomorrow to see if Blom in particular can keep up with his current upswing and claw himself right back to the top of the yearly profits rankings.
