EPT Barcelona – Main Event Reaches Final Table

The Season 11 opener of the European Poker Tour in Barcelona is coming close to completion with the final two big events seeing their fields reduced once more yesterday. The Main Event final table has been reached whilst the High Roller is now down to the final 21 players.

EPT Barcelona Main Event Day 4 – Ensan Leads Final 8

The 100th Main Event final table in the history of the European Poker Tour has now been reached after Day 4 went about reaching the last eight players from the field of 25 that began the day.

The player that leads that 100th final table is German pro Hossein Ensan after he amassed a chip count of 10,295,000. He leads the likes of Ji Zhang, Andrey Shatilov and Andrea Dato with the latter being the biggest name on this final table but with the shortest stack.

Day 4 saw the eliminations of Dominik Panka, Bram Haenraets and Maximilian Senft among 4 others others.

Day 5 commences at 1pm local time in Barcelona and plays down until we have our 100th Main Event winner on the in the tours history.

EPT Barcelona High Roller Day 2 Barer Leads

The hugely successful and record breaking High Roller at the European Poker Tour Barcelona saw the field on Day 2 reduced from 193 to just 21 with Ami Barer finishing as the days chip leader on 1,953,000 in chips.

He is the man that at this moment in time is on course to take down the €747,200 on offer for the winner. It is far from set in stone however as he still has the likes of Stephen Chidwick, Benjamin Pollak, Juha Helppi and PokerStars Team Pro Jason Mercier looking dangerous in the event.


Those eliminated on Day 2 included Benny Spindler, Toby Lewis and PokerStars Team Pros George Danzer, Vanessa Selbst, Mickey Petersen, Eugene Katchalov and Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier.
