EPT End Of Season Final Announced For Monte Carlo

shutterstock_126148589The European Poker Tour Grand Final has been announced with the details finalised today. As with last year, the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort will host the €10,600 Main Event.

This is the end of season finale and with the EPT drawing to yet another season’s close, this event is sure to attract some of the top names in poker. As with any event of this magnitude, we can expect a full crowd with some of the best in the business come and play on the felts of the majestically constructed Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort on Avenue Princesse Grace in the up market neighbourhood of Larvotto, which overlooks the Mediterranean Sea.

With only 334 rooms and 22 suites, business will be booming for hotels in the area as the hotel quickly fills up in anticipation of what should be 2013’s biggest EPT event on display.

Last year Mohsin Charania took the title in this event with a €1,350,000 cash and is expected to equal or if not top that figure in this year’s big main event. It is no doubt, the crown jewel for any European Poker Tour follower and the cash prize is one of the best out there.

As the Main Event steals the show looking for yet another EPT master, there will be plenty going on in a round the hustle bustle. The most prestigious of all the events, bar the main event, will be the €100,000 Super High Roller Event that will be taking a massive chunk of the show with its super high buy-in. On top of this, there will be 2 more high roller events to dig into.

A €25,000 high roller tournament has been earmarked along with a €10,600 High Roller turbo event. With all of this going on the money is going to flowing all over Monte Carlo’s most prominent gambling centre piece and the action will just keep on coming with more EPT cash games, which has never been done before in an EPT event.

What an event we are in for by the looks of things so far. This is by far the most exciting line-up we’ve seen so far and all is expected to shuffle up between the 6th of May and the 15th of May.

To get involved in the action, players can find qualifiers running daily on PokerStars and there will also be a few other online poker rooms and local brick and mortar events around the world giving players the chance to launch their way into either the main event or one of the big buy-in high rollers.

This is an event that shouldn’t be missed. There will be live online coverage from the EPT or if you have it what takes you can actually get involved in the live action yourself!
