The aim on Day 2 of the European Poker Tour High Roller was to see the field at the start of play of 84 reduced rather ambitiously to just the final table of eight, however despite coming close after ten levels of action they had to call it a day with ten players remaining.
Leading those ten is the Dmitry Yurasov after he built up a stack on Day 2 of 1,404,000 to put him just under 100k ahead of Olivier Busquet in 2nd place.
Both of those will not be over confident of winning just yet though, considering the strength of the field that is still remaining behind them. There is the likes of Thomas Muhlocker, Jeff Rossiter, Mike McDonald and of course the PokerStars Team Pro Vanessa Selbst all still with a shout in this event.
Made day 3 of €10k with 819k which is ~average with 10 left going into 10k/20k

We lost a total of 74 players who were sent home on Day 2 and with the event being a High Roller, you would expect the majority of those to be notable names on the poker scene. This was certainly the case as out of the event went the likes of Bryn Kenney, Jonathan Little, Dimitar Danchev, Martin Finger, Steve O’Dwyer and PokerStars Team Pro Bertrand Grospellier.

At least those above managed to make a cash as falling before the bubble were players of the calibre of Isaac Haxton, Max Greenwood, Mickey Petersen, Maxim Lykov and the bubble boy himself Eugene Katchalov.
Ugh amateurish bubble bust out for me in the high roller.
