The Season 9 European Poker Tour London schedule has been released and everyone is excited to see that the tour has come full circle with games being played where the EPT started its very first season. That’s right, this year the EPT will be hosted at Grosvenor Victoria Casino in London, the casino that hosted the event from Season 1 and for many years after that before it was moved to a nearby casino.

It’s an exciting time, some of the well-known players expect it to be a thrilling atmosphere. Victoria Coren, a PokerStars Team Pro member, won Season 3 at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino and is so excited that EPT London has returned to where it all began.

The news that EPT was being hosted at Grosvenor Victoria Casino was announced the same time as the full EPT London schedule. EPT have joined with the UK and Ireland Poker Tour main event offering fantastic events, thrilling action over eleven exciting days.

Season 9 will have thirty seven events held over eleven days in March. The event runs from the 5 March through to the 16 March 2013.

How it Will Work

As some of you may know the Grosvenor Victoria Casino will not be big enough to fit the whole European Poker Tour, there is expected to be a phenomenal turnout and the casino cannot manage that number of people.

PokerStars live poker room at the Hippodrome casino is about to be unveiled and they will be hosting many of the side events, therefore twenty four hours of cash games will be hosted at both venues, ensuring that there is more than enough space for players and spectators.

Benny Spindler won Season 8 and went home with £750,000. This year the season starts with the £770 UKIPT main event and a selection of side events. As the main event is nearing the end the European Poker Tour begins with a £5,250 main event and a choice of fun side events including the £330 Spring Turbo and the £550 PokerStars Womens event.

There is a choice of great games on offer in this years tournament from turbo games to high roller games and no limit holdem games to pot limit Omaha and Horse. It all kicks off on Tuesday the 5 March at 12.00 with the UKIPT (UK and Ireland Poker Tour) Main event day 1A and finishes on Saturday 16 March with the 12.00 European Poker Tour main event final table.
