EPT Prague Main Event Day 3 – Lacay Leading 61 (vids)

EPT by PokerStars

Day 3 at the European Poker Tour Prague Main event has now seen the play get right down to the business end as the field has now seen the bubble burst and the field reduced from the 189 that started the day to that of just 61 after five long hour and a half levels at the felt.

Come the end of proceedings it was Ludovic Lacay that held the chip lead after bagging up 1,700,000 and a healthy lead of more than 600k. He leads a pretty tough top ten too that includes players of the caliber of Ole Schemion, Ana Marquez and Stephen Chidwick.

Further back but still in with a shot at the title are names like Jonathan Little, Jonathan Roy, Ari Engel, Max Silver and Andrew Chen.

There were again a large number of eliminations on Day 3 including all of the all of the remaining Team PokerStars Pros. Jonathan Duhamel, Eugene Katchalov, Henrique Pinho, Bertrand Grospellier and David Williams were the only players left representing the site at the start of the day, but throughout the course of Day 3 each of them fell.

They were joined on the rail by other notable names as well as we saw Martin Staszko, Amir Lehavot, Tom Alner, Paul Volpe, Dominik Nitsche and Darren Elias all falling by the wayside on Day 3. Each of them will now be considering their next move, especially with the High Roller kicking off tomorrow.

That’s about it for Day 3 but do make sure you come back to see the action from Day 4 tomorrow in which the players play down in order to get ever closer to that EPT Prague Main Event final table. Additionally the High Roller will be starting too, which we will also be following closely.
