We were treated to another display of top class poker action yesterday as the 115 players of EPT Sanremo Main Event that began the day had to fight tooth and nail to establish themselves into the top 79 paying positions. Once the day had ended that had been achieved and we were actually now down to the final 39 players in the event.
Leading the field is Raul Mestre after a god performance brought him 942,000 chips to have him lead over the likes of Lukas Berglund, Olivier Busquet and Jordon Westmorland in the top ten.
With there being plenty of eliminations on Day 3, each of those surviving 39 will be thankful to have got this far. Among those outside of the top ten include PokerStars Team Pros Vicky Coren and Alex Kravchenko whilst Stephen Chidwick, Dimitar Danchev and Michael Tureniec also made it through.
THROUGH TO DAY FOUR!!!! Just 39 of us left now, of 556; prize money currently at €11,600. Average chips 427k, I have 455k. PLENTY.
Going home on Day 3 though with a cash to their names at were the likes of Dominik Nitchse, Roberto Romanello, and PokerStars Team Pros Johnny Lodden and Victor Ramdin.
