The player that is currently leading is Oleksii Khoroshenin after his chip count of 171,900 proved to be the best on the day. He leads a top ten that includes notable player in Sergii Baranov, Dominik Nitsche and Vladimir Geshkenbein.

Out of the event on Day 1a went plenty of notable names with the likes of David Vamplew, Max Silver, Yann Dion, Barny Boatman and Noah Boeken all hitting the rail. They will now have to make do with some of the side events for some action until the High Roller starts up in a few days time.
Busto the EPT main after a long day of sadness. Day off then side events galore!

The action starts back up at 12pm local time in Vienna as Day 1b looks to bring in another batch of hopefuls looking to establish themselves in Day 2. The field is expected to be big, especially if you consider the record breaking field that took part in the Eureka Main Event. We doubt this one will break records but we are sure the numbers will be big.
