Day 2 at the European Poker Tour High Roller was completed not so long ago as the field underwent another tough day at the felt before being whittled down from the 181 registrations that came into the day to just the nine players that will contest the title later today.
Dmitry Yurasov is the man who is just edging the chip lead after his chip count of 1,866,000 has him about 50k ahead of Benny Spindler in second place. On an extremely tough looking final table we also have the likes of Vitaly Lunkin, Fabrice Soulier and PokerStars Team Pro Jonathan Duhamel looking to stake a claim for the title.
Day 2 is over, 9/181 players left, little less than average but feeling good about tomorrow!! #EPTViennaHR

The action on Day 2 was as frantic as you could imagine with the knowledge that only 27 of the players would make the money. This meant we had plenty of eliminations before the bubble and 18 after it. Among those that left empty handed were Philipp Gruissem, Toby Lewis, Mike McDonald and David Vamplew whilst those who at least got paid before busting were the likes of Sam Trickett and PokerStras Team Pro Theo Jorgensen.
I’m out !! Shoved A9 and got called by QQ ….GG
