The European Poker Tour Vienna Main Event is now down to the final 50 players after Day 3 saw the field cut down in size to that number the 189 players that started the day. Each of those players had to survive another long day at the felt and will now be happy to be established firmly into the money.
The player that has the chip lead going into Day 4 is Pablo Gordillo after a great day at the tables brought him 2,111,000 in chips. There are still plenty of players that are capable of challenging him though, especially the likes of notable players Jude Ainsworth and PokerStars Team Pros Johnny Lodden and Marcel Luske.
With the bubble being past on Day 3 there was always going to be notable players that would fall either side of it. For those that did make the money but fell there were Full Tilt Poker Professionals Gus Hansen, Viktor Blom and PokerStars Team Pros Bertrand Grospellier, Alexander Kravchenko and Marc-Andre Ladouceur.
