This weekend is going to be a tremendous one for all online poker players, not only is there the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker Challenge Series (WCOOP) taking place but the Full Tilt Online Poker Series XXVI (FTOPS XXVI) also kicks into action on Sunday.
Sunday will see two events from the latest FTOPS, with the first being a $215 No Limit Hold’em tournament that is a re-buy event that has a $300k prize pool guarantee. After that is the first opening day flight of a $55 No Limit Hold’em event that will be played over a few days and have a $200k prize pool guarantee.
That is just the start of things to come however, as there will be more than two weeks worth of FTOPS tournaments coming up after the weekend. There will be 30 in total, covering many different poker variations and formats.
So whether you like to play turbo or re-buy events, prefer Omaha or Razz, there is something there for you. In fact, there are even HORSE events, Rush formats, 6-card Omaha and even a 25 game mix tournament to really test your skills at the tables.
The buy-ins range from $55 right up to the $2,100 it will cost for a ticket into the Main Event that starts on Sunday the 17th of August. This event will have a prize pool guarantee of $1 million, though if we were to go on history, that guarantee will be busted emphatically.
As with any other FTOPS, there will be many other prizes and promotions for players to work towards. There is a Black Pro Sponsorship up for grabs for ever finishes at the top of the FTOPS leaderboard come the end of the series whilst players that make any final table will receive a free limited edition FTOPS jacket.
If the buy-ins are a bit of a stretch for you, do not worry as there are plenty of satellites that you can enter that are awarding seats into the events. This means you could have the chance at winning big money at the fraction of the cost to enter to those around you.
You can get the full schedule of proceedings by going to the official Full Tilt Poker FTOPS page here. Once you have checked out which events you are going to play, you are all set to go out there and get yourself some good scores.
