You should already be aware that Full Tilt Poker expanded its client back in January of this year, which saw the addition of the popular casino based games Roulette and Blackjack on its poker client, yet now they have taken another step forward after adding new real money slots games too.
Those original casino games have been undergoing a testing period since January and have only been accessible in certain regions such as the UK. This staggered rollout is set to continue but until then the appearance of these new slot games will provide players with many more forms of entertainment.
There have been eight in total added so far and they can be found under the “casino” tab in the Full Tilt Poker client.
The Rational Group which is the parent company for both Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars went into partnership with Leander Games to develop these new games, making it the first time they have ever used third party content on their sites and clients.
When the partnership first surfaced, the CEO of Leander Steven Matsell stated: “This partnership will change Leander’s position within the marketplace from ‘new kid on the block’ to a serious contender”.
This could only be the beginning too for Full Tilt Poker as it is heavily expected that these casino games will be extended further and there is also a strong possibility that sports betting could also become a feature on for the poker site in coming years.
Ever since the Rational Group purchased Full Tilt Poker they made no secret of the fact that they would be looking at bringing players more variety at the site and not just poker.
