Not long after Mike “Timex” McDonald came ever so close to securing the FTOPS XXV Main Event title but eventually finishing third to the eventual winner “Firaldo87”, the miniature version in the MiniFTOPS XXV is back on Full Tilt Poker.
This series starts tomorrow and is designed perfectly for those of you that did not have the bankroll to compete in its bigger brother. It will continue running until the 4th of May and will see the same amount of events as before, just ten times cheaper to buy into.
Sarne Lightman who is the Head of Marketing at the site said “MiniFTOPS XXV gives players the opportunity to play for great prize pools in a wide variety of exciting events, with more than $2 million guaranteed, the fields will be big and the prizes even bigger!”
In fact the buy-ins for the some of the events will be as low as $5.50 and will not go any higher than the $75 needed for the Main Event. Additionally, players could even get into these events for so much less, with there being many satellites on the site that could see players win a seat for as low as $0.05.
The big attractions will of course include the $600k guaranteed Main Event that even allows plaers to buy in as many as five times. On top of that there is the first event which always kicks off things nicely, being a $150k guaranteed event for just a $22 buy-in.
Another event that is going to get players anticipation levels reaching critical levels is Event 17. This tournament will run over eight opening day flights and costs just $11 to have a chance at a share of the $100k guarantee.
For those players that are looking to compete in as many of these events as possible in order to try and win the MiniFTOPS XXV Leaderboard, there will be plenty of prizes on offer if they do. The winner will earn a four month sponsorship at the site as well as a choice between cash of $10k or $12k worth of tournament buy-ins.
Its going to be the usual high excitement over at the site and for those of you that may have not seen the Main Event from the FTOPS XXV, here it is below.
