Day 3 at the inaugural Full Tilt Poker Montreal Poker Festival was just completed not so long ago, with the final 25 players having to compete for a place on the final table of nine to be played out later tonight.
It took around six hours for that result to be reached with Vinny Pahuja again topping the chip counts for the third time in this event. He finished up with a massive 10,910,000 chips to give him plenty of breathing space over Eric Despres behind him on 7,985,000.

The action was fast and furious on the tables as 16 players had to be eliminated throughout the day. This ensured that it really did not take as long as expected.
Others to do battle on that final table include Roger Lamia, Colin Piche and Michael Linster, with them looking to not only catch Pahuja but also to go on and win the event outright. Among those that had to fall on Day 3 were Francesco Buffone, Dawn Mootrey, Russell Crane and Jeff Cote. They will all be happy enough that they managed to make a score though, so all is not lost.
Day 4 will get underway at the same time today, with the play eventually revealing who the first ever title winner of this event will be. Can Pahuja continue to run good and dominate or will somebody else launch a surprise attack and steal the title?
Follow us tomorrow and we will let you know just that.
