Gaelle Garcia Diaz is still only 25 years old yet she has already carved out a very successful career for herself which has now evolved into being a professional poker player. She was born back in 1988 in Brussels and originally studied Communications & Public Relations, gaining a Bachelors Degree.
However, her career was always going to head in another direction after she became a highly successful model appearing in many magazines from P-Magazine and Che before Playboy eventually came calling. She was seen as the cover girl for the magazine in February of 2011 which was the shoot that would see her become a far more recognisable face.
That very same year she was picked up by the world’s most successful online poker site PokerStars and was charged with being the official hostess for the European Poker Tour. Since then she has been the host at a number of EPT events.
However, this association with the game would eventually lead to her not only hosting but now playing in events when she can. Though her poker career is still very young and she has only cashed in two live events thus far, one of those was in the Men Only event at the EPT Deauville recently for a payout of $1,149 for a 15th place finish.

It is her online game that seems to bring her the most success, with her often seen grinding well at the tables of PokerStars. We are sure that her live game will improve over time especially since she obviously has a very clear understanding of the game. Though she now plays as much as possible, she is still a presenter/host and even recently joined up with Joe Stapleton from PokerStars to host the European GPI Player Of The year Awards.

We expect we are going to be seeing allot more of Diaz in the future, both on and off of the table!
