Global Poker Index Weekly Report – The Race Heats Up

We are at that time of the week again where the GPI have released their calculations on the top 300 ranked tournament poker players. They calculate the top 300 by rewarding points based on each player’s tournament performances over a three year basis.

There has been quite a few changes to the top ten this week, with two new faces in David “Doc” Sands and Eugene Katchalov knocking both Michael Mizrachi and Vanessa Selbst from the top ten.

This week saw 13 new entries into the top 300 with the same number going the other way, the highest of these new entries was Ludovic Lacay after his triumph in the EPT San Remo putting him straight in at 126th.
