The Global Poker Index has once again released their latest update on their respective rankings this week with there not being all that much change from last week. They use their own formula to give each player points for their live tournament results over the last three years to determine their current rankings.

There has not been too much movement in the Global Poker Rankings Top Ten of the GPI Top 300 player rankings this week but the significant one is that of PokerStars Team Pro Jonathan Duhamel replacing Mike McDonald in 10th place.

Ole Schemion still has a big lead though with the likes of Scott Seiver, Philipp Gruissem and Vanessa Selbst on his tail and still plenty of poker action left in 2014, he will not be sitting comfortably just yet.

GPI Top 300 Tournament Players

1st) Ole Schemion – 4016.37

8th) Stephen Chidwick – 3282.26

10th) Jonathan Duhamel                – 3186.87

There were ten new entries into the top 300 this month with the biggest of those names being Sam Trickett and Greg Mueller. They have entered in 300th and 299th place respectively and will now be concentrating on doing their best to climb as high as possible in the coming months.

As for the Global Poker Rankings Player of the Year rankings which are scored by results in 2014 alone it is still Keven Stammen that leads an unchanged top ten. Schemion is his closest rival right now and seems to be the man in form over the past couple of years.
