It’s been mainly a down year for Hansen, but in the last three days he’s pulled off half a million’s worth of cash profits, playing mainly on the Deuce to Seven games.
Two days ago Hansen won $102,668, then he pulled in $55,470 on the 2-7 Triple Draw table the very next day. Yesterday he topped off that two day total of $158,138 and added yet another $270,619, once again grinding on the 2-7 Triple Draw games. His three day total from Draw alone has now reached into a total profit of $428,757.
His latest blast at the tables came from two big sessions. One of which he won $177,000 in just two hours play versus Alex “Alexonmoon” Luneau in a heads-up match. They were both joined later on by Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond to which both Galfond and Leuneau gave up almost equal amounts to give Hansen his $177,000 win. The losses for Galfond left him $88,518 down while Leuneau $88,510 was left in the red, losing just $8 less.
Before Hansen raked in that six figure win, he had built up momentum by taking down a short-handed table for $79,000 playing versus Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, Sebastien “Seb86″ Sabic, and “Kagome Kagome”, who incidentally still hasn’t revealed the name behind the screen name, but we do know he is an ex-pat based in Japan.
“Punting-Peddler” was the other big winner today. He was playing over on the 8-Game Mix tables that produced huge profits just a couple of days ago. His victim was that man on the tables again, Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, who had another bad day, but this time it was what we would call a soft loss for the Swede as he dropped just $162,554 overall. He has been known to go on far worse downswings. “Punting-Peddler” also took some small wins from the Omaha Hi/Lo fixed limit games.
