It’s been as interesting following the cash games with players such as Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, Gus Hansen, Phil “polarizing” Ivey, Tom “durrrr” Dwan and his challenge with Dan “Jungleman12” Cates, and more from a list that’d probably run this report several scrolls down.
Most notably we’ve seen Blom incredibly drop from a high of $4 million dollars in the green, tipping over the first half of the year to blowing it all in just a couple of months and he is now in the green for the year as he records $923,290 to the good to date in 2013. Yesterday, he only added $19,279 to that result.
Yesterday, Gus Hansen was back amongst the big names for the right reasons as he topped the online poker profits’ leader board with almost a quarter of a million to report back with, but his current yearly stats are still putting him at a $4,103,670 loss. His up and down swings have not seen any improvement on his deficit over the last month or so, but he’s also not made the situation worse. It will be an incredible turn of events if he can come back from this, after yesterday proving to be another one of his upswings that he just can’t seem to maintain at the moment.

5th “JayP-AA” – $46,911
More surprisingly than ever was the other side of the winners list as we started to look down in the red zone. Phil “Polarizing” Ivey, who has worked so hard to quash what was going into a $3 million deficit from his online endeavours was back in the red again. It wasn’t good news either, as he dipped down close to the half a million mark for the day.
As for any other losses for the day, they were all relatively tame exacerbating Ivey’s melt down when you take a look at the losses charts. This is one loss from a player that has been doing so well that really stands out.

Ivey’s losses came from Triple Draw to the tune of $141,040, where Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond dominated on these tables winning $112,124 for the day. On the Pot Limit Omaha tables Ivey lost $25,331, but it was the Omaha High/Low games that destroyed him the most after he lost $285,617. It wasn’t a good day over here for Galfond as he saw his Triple Draw profits wiped out, losing $100,898 on these tables.
It takes no lucky guesses to name which players were running good to see Galfond and Ivey drop six figures on the FLO Split Hi/Lo games, as of course it was the day’s three biggest overall winners.
