So we are now here in 2014 after a week of visiting friends and family, overindulging in food and alcohol, putting on weight but mainly enjoying the break from the day jobs that each of us might have. This was no different for the world’s most well known poker professionals either as they did not hold back in either wishing everybody a happy new year or sharing pictures of their own.
Many of them would have been making their New Year resolutions with regards to either their poker for the year or their personal lives, whilst others still had an eye on the year just gone.
Take a look at our pick of Tweets and Instagram photos that were shared over New Year.

Now the festivities are out of the way, there is only one place in the player’s minds right now and that is the Caribbean for the PCA’s. Is there a better location to start off the poker year? No chance!
