Negreanu Looking For Love On Millionaire Matchmaker

You may have heard recently that Daniel Negreanu is so desperate to find love, which he agreed to participate in the television show “Millionaire Matchmaker”. This show is meant to find suitable partners for millionaires who then go on a series of dates before the millionaire decides whether or not he wants to continue seeing any of them.

Whilst we will all have to wait on the results, as the show is yet to have been aired, it has got us all thinking about the many other television appearances that poker pros have made over the years.

Negreanu himself is certainly no stranger when it comes to being on camera; for one thing he is one of the regular faces you will see on any televised poker show. Apart from those though, he has also appeared in a selection of movies such as Lucky you and one of the X-Men movies.

Others To Have Appeared Before The Cameras!

The list is fairly long, even when you take away the regular stars of the televised cash games usually seen at night time. Beth Shak, Tiffany Michele, Maria Ho, Annie Duke and the ever popular Jean-Robert Bellande are some of the other stars that have been involved in modern reality TV.

In fact the latter of those was probably the first to be seen on TV, as he was a contestant on an early season of Survivor.

Annie Duke was involved in a celebrity edition of The Apprentice, where she actually made it to the finals but didn’t actually win, whilst Beth Shak was the first poker player before Negreanu to appear on the millionaire Matchmaker.

Ho and Michele appeared together in a single episode of the ‘Amazing Race’ with Michele also making an appearance in a television program titled ‘Worst Cooks In America’. It has also been said on the grapevine that Ho was involved in a reality show that followed her, Liv Boeree, Vanessa Rousso and the ever scary Vanessa Selbst during their experiences at the 2012 WSOP, though it has not be aired as of yet.

It also made the news recently that Jennifer Harmon was to play a part in a show about four women players in Las Vegas. Two of the most popular characters in poker, Antonio Esfandiari and Phil Laak took part in shows such as ‘I Bet You’ due to their comical personalities that have been shown on the late night poker live casts.

We are eagerly waiting to see whether or not Negreanu does in fact find the love he was looking for on his show, with us wishing that potential partner lots of luck.
