Ole Schemion is EPT Season 10 Player of the Year

first place

It was always going to take something miraculous to stop Ole Schemion from claiming the European Poker Tour Player of the Year award come the start of the final stop at Monte Carlo last week, yet he was not going to take any chances and stormed to another impressive performance by claiming another three cashes at the stop. The best of those was a 7th place finish in the Super High Roller for €307,000 to finish his season off on a high note.

The Player of the Year Standings

1st) Ole Schemion – 1,358.47

2nd) Thomas Muehloecker – 1,081.73

3rd) Alex Bilokur  - 997.05

4th) Vanessa Selbst – 803.87

5th) Adrian Mateos Diaz – 796.63

His achievement comes after an astonishing year on the EPT in which he secured no less than 14 cashes. He won a title in Sanremo in the High Roller but it was his consistency at cashing in the events  that saw him finish well ahead of the likes of Thomas Muhlocker, Alex Bilokur and PokerStars Team Pro Vanessa Selbst.
