It’s most definitely been one of those weeks on the virtual felts with some mega swingy action among the high stakes cash players.
We have plenty of up and down swings to report with some good times coming over the last couple of days for that man Viktor “Isildur1” Blom. His game has been off over the last couple of months seeing him wipe out nearly all his yearly profits after what was a solid start to the year. In yesterday’s action he pulled in $165,092 to add to his weekly upswing that could have been better had he not lost in a massive heads-up encounter versus Isaac “luvtheWNBA” Haxton at the start of it all.
In the end though Blom rounded of a great week at last with a $418,528 profit after grinding 11,028 hands in exactly 167 sessions recorded.
Last week’s largest profit came Phil “Polarizing” Ivey and this week he did it again, managing to pull off yet another hefty six figure run meaning Ivey is looking confident and back on track. He played a total of 3,178 hands and 48 sessions to bring home another $266,932 to further reduce his yearly deficit and possibly make a run in by the end of the year to turn his current figures from red to green.
Ronny “ronnyr37617” Kaiser made a good last dash towards the latter half of the week playing in a similar number of sessions and hands as Ivey pulling in $287,801for his efforts. Not bad at all. However, more impressively, Hac “trex313” Dang went over the $300k mark to become the second largest winner of the week behind Blom, who Haxton took much of his profits from at the beginning of the week.
1st “Isildur1” – $418,528
2nd “trex313” – $333,626
3rd “ronnyr37617” – $287,801
4th “Polarizing” – $266,932
With some big winners on the circuit there must always be those that hand the cash over and finish up as the big loses. “samrostan” was the worst off for the week after he dropped -$499,427 in 3,664 hand and 49 sessions making it a terrible performance for the man registered in China.
The list also included Tom “durrrr” Dwan after he dropped more cash to Dan “Jungleman12” Cates in the Durrrr challenge. It looks as if Dwan has a mountain climb and Cates is sure to stop him from gaining any ground back as the challenge starts to push for the halfway point. We also saw the end to the 15k hand challenge between Doug “WCG|Rider” Polk and “Suace1234”, in which Polk came out victorious.
The Weeks Biggest Losers
