What a week it has been for Phil “Polarizing” Ivey as he beats down the online Full Tilt cash games for a fourth day in a row.
Ivey has won more cash playing online poker than any other player, but this year hasn’t been the best we’ve seen from the superstar pro as he was under almost $3 million. In the last four days however he has clocked up profits of $791,610.
Yesterday Ivey dropped $71,366 playing on the 8-Game Mix tables late in the day, even after racking up what was almost a $400,000 profit. Unfortunately he hit a massive downswing that saw most of his good plays wiped up. He also recorded a loss of $44,056 in some early play on the 2-7 Triple Draw tables. However, Ivey is not to be swayed as his past few day’s form have given the super star pro some real momentum, and so Ivey was going to find a place to get himself some profitable plays.
That place was found in some early game where Ivey was crushing the Omaha High/Low tables. He was in a steamy heads-up game versus fellow professional Kyle “KPR16″ Ray in which Ivey took over $300,000. By the end of the days Omaha High/Low play, Ivey had rinsed the tables for $304,916.
Today’s absolute Draw expert was “OMGClayAiken”. He won a total of $412,478 crushing the Triple Draw games with all he had. That win helped him top the leader board for the day and he could have been over the $400,000 mark, had he not dropped $21,115 in the 8-Game arena.

“Gus Hansen” (-$334,146)
Rounding up this year’s losses so far, Gus Hansen just seems to be falling further behind. He’s now heading towards the $5 million deficit area. However, as you can see Phil “Polarizing” Ivey has wiped out a big chunk of this year’s losses, bringing his losses back down to just above the $2 million mark.
