Kayleigh Dropped as WPT Hostess

Three years running, three girls having their shot as the resident hostess on WPT broadcasts. It wasn’t to be for Layla Kayleigh either as the company accounced they will not be renewing her contract for Season VII.

Rumours of Kayleigh’s departure were first circulated on the Wicked Chops Poker site this last weekend, amid reports of auditions for the new Season VII girl imminent or possibly underway. Initially WPT declined to comment, but then a brief statement was released, saying:

'Layla Kayleigh brought great edge, wit, and personality to the World Poker Tour as hostess in Season VI, and we sincerely wish her well as she continues to explore her TV career. We are currently casting for the Season VII TV hostess role, and look forward to introducing her to everyone soon.'

Someone who would be a popular heir to Kayleigh is WPT Online video reporter Kimberly Lansing, who has been a hit with many in the poker community.
