Full Tilt Poker Announce $25k Heads-Up Tournament

After hosting a major series of online poker tournaments in its flagship FTOPS series, it would be easy to think that Full Tilt Poker would sink something of a lull after the glitz and glamour of the $1,000,000+ prize pools.

However, they are upping the ante with a $25,000 buy-in heads-up tournament; the most expensive buy-in in online poker history. The event will be hosted by two-time National Heads-Up Runner-Up and current Heads-Up World Champion Chris ‘Jesus’ Ferguson and will run across the 24th and 25th of May.

The event will see 64 runners but will be dropped to 32 or even 16 if there are not enough people willing to put $25,000 on the line. Full Tilt are also offering a series of $500+$35 satellites to the event.
