For those looking to head to Las Vegas for the 2008 WSOP tournament time is running out for them to find flights and accommodation. Hotels in the area are turning away customers and many flights from places such as Europe are fully booked around about the start date for the tournament. So what is happening?<br />

Even though there have been concerns that attendance and participation figures for the tournament will be disappointing it seems that nobody has told the growing army of WSOP supporters around the world. Many fans are looking to take in the atmosphere, check out the tables in the area and basically enjoy what is the pinnacle of the Poker calendar. <br />

While there is still no confirmation as to who will be attending and the number of entrants, the word is that things may not be as bad as the picture painted just a few days ago. Demand is increasing as the tournament approaches, players are confirming their places and the organisers expect demand to continue to rise as the tournament gets ever closer.<br />
