In a tense fought final table with 10 finalists ranging form 21 years of age to 55 years it was relative youngster Ismael Arribas Munoz, 26, from Madrid who bagged the big one – a $200,000 jackpot! The final table had a real international flavour with one Spaniard, four Germans, two French, two Dutch and a Swede playing for the $1,000,000 in prize money on offer. Of the gallant losers the second placed player was from the Netherlands and third place for France and it was the younger crowd who won the battle of the ages, with the second and third finishers only 25 years of age.
