Trump Plaza Showcases PokerPro

In a move which is sure to cause differing views and comments in the world of Poker, the Trump Plaza has introduced the latest in Poker technology with the opening of The East Tower Poker Room. Make no mistake, this is no run of the mill Poker room as it comes fitted with the latest electronic Poker technology in the shape of PokerPro. So what is it all about? In simple terms PokerPro is an automatic electronic poker machine which allows players to sit around the table as normal, but their hands are dealt electronically and everything is automated. Early trials have shown an increase in hands per hour, a dramatic reduction in costs and increasing player acceptance. While this style of Poker will not be to everyone’s taste there are hopes that it can be rolled out throughout the industry. While just a couple of years ago it would have taken a brave group to even attempt to shoe horn the PokerPro into a modern day casino venue, times are changing. Initially many people were perplexed and amazed at the skills of the Poker card dealers but now it seems as though they just want to play as many hands as they can, as quickly as possible. The East Tower Poker Room is expected to receive authorisation from the NJ State Casino Control Commission and will go live very soon.
