Negreanu to launch poker tips book

Poker star Daniel Negreanu is set to release a book of poker tips called Power Hold'em Strategy through publishing company Cardoza.

It is thought that it will feature contributions from some of poker's top names such as Evelyn Ng, Bobby Baldwin and T J Cloutier.

Negreanu's book will provide poker fans with tips on how to handle short-handed, heads-up play, high-limit cash games and bluffing.

Beginners will also be pleased to find that there will be a section teaching them how to handle more experienced players and neutralise the power of professionals.

The poker pro commented: "We tried to fit in as many helpful hand examples as we could without creating a 1,000-page monster … When you apply the advice we’ve given you to your own game, I have no doubt that you will improve rapidly."

At the World Series of Poker this year Negreanu joined a select group of poker aces to win four of the prestigious gold bracelets.
