Hellmuth talks the talk at WSOP main event

As Day 2b starts at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event on Thursday, a number of past winners are still looking in good stead, including the very vocal Phil Hellmuth.

Hellmuth, who won the event in 1989, has been bantering and swapping chips with Ramzi Jelassi right from the off.

The winner of 11 bracelets at the WSOP said to Jelassi: "When you play with me, you don't just have to beat my cards, you have to beat me."

However, Jelassi showed he was up to the challenge a few hands later when Hellmuth folded A-9 face up and Jelassi turned up 4-5.

He then threw Hellmuth's words back at him saying: "When you play with me, you don't play the cards, you play the man."

On his arrival at the main event this year, Hellmuth turned up dressed as General Patton with 11 girls in tow, one for each bracelet.
