Tuesday 15th July 2008 Nebuchad Joins Team Ladbrokes
Ladbrokes Poker has announced that last year’s Scandinavian online player of the year, Jonas ‘Nebuchad’ Danielsson, has joined Jon Kalmar, Roy Brindley, Jeff Kimber and Steve Davis as a member of its fully sponsored team.
The Swedish high-stakes player won three million dollars last year online to make himself Europe’s biggest winner across all cash games and has already cashed during this year’s $1,500 six-handed, $10,000 Heads-Up World Championship and the $2,500 six-handed events.
'It goes without saying that we wanted him in our stable of sponsored players,” said Edward Ihre, Managing Director for Ladbrokes Poker.
“Jonas started his career by playing our free tournaments and has developed into one of the most formidable online players.

Twenty-five-year-old Danielsson was born in Stromstad but moved to Uppsala five years ago in order to study technical physics. His best online performance so far was winning more than $150,000 at Ladbrokes Poker’s Legends Reunion in November.
