WSOP Main Event – The Final Table Revealed

As we take a break from the action at WSOP 2008 the makeup of the final table has been revealed and it is a mixed bag of well known and not so well know faces. However, this is the beauty of poker, the chance to take opportunities as they arise and rise to the head of the table. So let us meet the players who will be slugging it out for the $9.1 million first prize :- Dennis Phillips Dennis is the oldest player to make it through the final table at 53 years of age and with only a few thousands dollars in tournament wins to his name, he has punched well above his weight. Currently at the head of the chips count, Dennis Philips is a man to watch. Ivan Demidov Ivan is from Russia and only started playing the game back in 2006, so his rise to the top of the table has been somewhat dramatic. Scott Montgomery Montgomery is no newbie having amassed over $400,000 in tournament wins and the Canadian has a great chance of hitting the jackpot. Other at the final table include Peter Eastgate, Ylon Schwartz, Darus Suharto, David ‘Chino’ Rheem, Craig Marquis and Kelly Kim. But where are the Brits!
