Mike Watsons Dream Comes True

Mike ‘Sir Watts’ Watson is a 24 year old form Toronto who has just taken home a $1.6 million pot from the Las Vegas World Poker Tour’s Bellagio Cup IV. The story of Sir Watts is one which will warm the cockles of any poker player’s heart with a number of brave (some would say foolish) moves in his early life to chase his dream of becoming a big name in poker.<br /> <br /> In his early days Sir Watts was in further education at one of the premier education facilities in his homeland, but only a year into his Masters at the University of Waterloo he decided that it was time to chase his dream, finish his education and head for the world of poker. However, the worst was yet to come when he had to explain to his parents why he was giving up the chance of a lifeline for the cut throat and very volatile world of poker.<br /> <br /> Thankfully for Sir Watts it has all come true for him with this week's $1.6 million win putting him on the map. He has also had a number of close calls at other tournaments of late but he seems to have nerves of steel and a steady friendly approach to life – not your customary poker player then!
