So Who Will Take The Final Glory At WSOP 2008?

While we have covered the last remain players in this year's WSOP it is interesting to take a look at the betting to see who seems to be the favourite in the market. A quick glance sees the following odds :- Dennis Phillips 4.2/1 Craig Marquis 12/1 Ylon Schwartz 8.4/1 Scott Montgomery 4.6/1 Darus Suharto 10/1 David Rheem 11/1 Ivan Demidov 4.4/1 Kelly Kim 49/1 Peter Eastgate 5.8/1 So on that basis it looks like a Phillips, Demidov, Montgomery, one, two, three, but if life was that easy we would all be millionaires by now. It has to be said that those in the first three places certainly have a head start on the chip count front but it can all change in a matter of hands, with many twists and turns expected in the final stages. One thing is for sure, we look set to see one of the more interesting battles with a number of well known faces and many who are sampling the experience for the first time. With a multi-million dollar jackpot to hand the pressure will be on, the hands will be shaking and some may fall into the trap of dreaming about the big bucks - but who will take the big money home?
