PokerStars Bump Up Tournament Prizes

PokerStars are famed, among other things, for their huge Sunday tournaments. The Sunday Million is a staggering $1,000,000 guaranteed tournament that regularly exceeds the huge prize promise and once topped $2,000,000. In light of this popularity, PokerStars have pledged to permanently increase the guarantee of the Sunday Million to $1,500,000. As well as these increases, a series of further prize swellings has been announced. Their weekly $200+$15 H.O.R.S.E. (Hold’em, Omaha 8, Razz, Stud and Stud 8) tournament now has a guarantee of $50,000. The Sunday Warm-Up, a smaller preclude to the main Sunday Million, has shot up from $500,000 to $750,000. Their Super Tuesday tournament will now be a guaranteed $300,000 prize pool and the weekly Pot Limit Omaha event will be worth a total of $20,000 at least.
