Stars return for day two of LAPT Uruguay

There are still plenty of big names left in the Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) finale in Uruguay following day one of the competition.

Greg Raymer, the winner of the 2004 World Series of Poker main event, is set to return, along with Humberto Brenes and Vanessa Rousso, reports PokerListings.com.

All three competitors play for PokerStars, one of the driving forces behind the LAPT, which made its debut in May this year.

Alex Brenes also made it through to the second day. He has already had success on the LAPT circuit this season, reaching the nine-man final table in event one in Rio de Janeiro.

The prize fund is worth $851,175 after 351 people turned up to compete, surpassing earlier attendance predictions.

It has not yet been decided how much of this will go to the winner.

Raymer is one of the biggest earners in live poker tournament history and has made more than $6 million over the years.
