LIPS Goes To Peru

News that the Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS) is making its way to the South American country of Peru shows how far the ladies game has come in such a short space of time. It has been confirmed that the LIPS tour will be held in conjunction with the Pro Poker Challenge of America with the event being held at the Casino Atlantic City in Miraflores, Peru. Scheduled to start on the 23rd August and end on the 1st September the event will start with a Mega Satellite which will give qualifiers their entry to the rest of the games throughout the week.<br /> <br /> It has to be said that this is a major coup for LIPS and looks set to take ladies poker to a different level in Peru. However, under country law in Peru poker can only be played between the hours of 6pm and 6am leaving players more than enough time to eat, sleep and see the sights of this beautiful part of the world!<br /> <br /> While the full player list for the tour has not been confirmed as yet, we already know that Linda Johnson and Jan Fisher will be in attendance and available for an array of seminars and conferences during the 10 day stay.
