Online Developer Selling Platform

Swedish online gaming software developer Designed Quality Entertainment AB has announced that it has agreed to sell its platform for Internet-based poker and blackjack to Proactive Gaming Scandinavia AB. The lease-buy deal is worth a reported $1.31 million and includes all related activities, personnel and contracts. Proactive Gaming will initially lease the platform for a specified period before taking over all rights to the business. Norrkoping-based Designed Quality Entertainment revealed that the transaction was part of a strategy to change direction as it now intends to focus on selling automatic beverage inventory systems for bars. The sale of the gaming platform will reduce its running costs along with providing capital for developing the new business.
