Poker In The Park Edges Ever Nearer

This weekend will see a very impressive prelude to the 2008 WSOP Europe event, which starts at the Empire Casino in Leicester Square, when the long awaited Poker in the Park kicks off. The event will be held at the same venue as the forthcoming 2008 WSOP Europe tournament and see an expected 25,000 crowd get the chance to mingle with the best in the game.<br /> <br /> The event will see a host of tournaments where players of all standards will be able to mix in as well as some very interest seminars and speeches from some of the biggest stars in the industry. The list of those know to be in attendance includes Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliott, Liv Boeree, Mark Goodwin and Neil Channing with more names to be released nearer the event date.<br /> <br /> This is being billed as the largest ever gathering of poker fans and players in the UK and looks set to be a day which few will forget. The chance to play with the stars, chat to the stars and receive advice of the stars of poker is an offer very few players in the UK will be able to ignore.
