London Makes Waves In The Poker Sector!

News that last weekend’s Poker in the Park event went like a dream and attracted record numbers to such an event has pushed London into the higher echelons of the poker industry with more and more high profile events scheduled for the future. So has London finally cracked the poker industry? Is it set to become a major player?<br /> <br /> While Poker in the Park is grabbing the current headlines the capital of England will see an invasion of Poker players in the coming months. September sees the star t of the 2008 World Series of Poker Europe event which is guaranteed to attract ALL of the big names in world poker. There are also a number of UK based tournaments coming to a conclusion in the capital towards the end of the 2008, events which will give the UK poker community the chance to show what the UK poker industry has to offer.<br /> <br /> Whether it is events like Poker in the Park or the forthcoming 2008 World Series of Poker Europe event which is attracting the masses it seems that the UK is now a rich haven of Poker talent. However, we now need to see some of the budding stars of the UK move onto the world stage and what better place to start than London?
