WPT Legends of Poker tomorrow

The second big tournament of the post-World Series of Poker summer begins tomorrow at Florida's Bicycle Casino.

Many of the best competitors in card playing will likely be at the Bell Gardens gaming centre for the next leg of the World Poker Tour (WPT) - the Legends of Poker.

Daniel Negreanu is one top card sharp who will be in attendance, as he hunts a record-tying third WPT title.

The Canadian already leads the Tour's all-time earnings list and would go level with Gus Hansen as the biggest winner ever should he secure a victory next week.

Kid Poker also has the opportunity to go joint top of the final table appearance list, with him currently lying just one place behind Phil Ivey with seven last day finishes.

It is thought that the prize fund for this year's event will be similar to last year's, when Dan Harrington emerged as champion and received a cheque for just over $1.6 million.
