Online Greats Play For Huge Stakes on Full Tilt Poker

Players such as Phil Ivey, Cole South and Brian Townsend are often found playing the “nosebleed” stakes of No-Limit Hold ‘em and Pot-Limit Omaha. It’s not uncommon to see several famous names gathered at a $200/$400 No Limit table with $50,000 stacks. Full Tilt Poker took this to a new extreme recently when a $500/$1,000 No Limit table with a massive $200,000 buy-in was created. High rolling professional Tom “durrr” Dwan and WSOP bracelet winner Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond were among the first on the scene. Tom Dwan was the game’s big winner, at one point increasing his stack to $724k after flopping a set of aces against relentless aggression from his opponent. Several pots bordered on the half-million mark.
