Fortune Affiliates Receives eCOGRA Approval

Fortune Affiliates has announced that it has become the first iGaming affiliate programme to be awarded with an Affiliate Trust Seal from the eCommerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance (eCOGRA) non-profit player protection and standards organisation. ECOGRA revealed that, just as its Safe and Fair Seal identifies the most reputable online casinos and poker rooms, the new Affiliate Trust Seal recognises affiliate operators that observe the same standards in fairness and excellence. To display the new Seal, affiliate programmes must demonstrate that they establish, enforce and monitor best practice standards. Specifically, they must show that they calculate affiliate revenues accurately and make payments promptly alongside the implementation of controls to accurately link players to affiliates. “We are extremely honoured to receive the very first Affiliate Trust Seal,” read a statement from Fortune Affiliates. “The process was a tough one but, as our affiliates have always known, we have always held ourselves to very high standards.” Fortune Affiliates administers thousands of affiliate marketers for the Fortune Lounge group of casinos and was chosen to participate in an eCOGRA pilot project during its year of study and standards development. The new programme, which underwent extensive on-site audit and inspection during the pilot project, is a set of generally accepted principles for online casino and poker room affiliates. ”The eCOGRA Affiliate Trust initiative is more about actually going and visiting the management and operations of affiliate programmes, gaining direct access to check relevant player and affiliate data to ensure that affiliate members are being treated fairly,” said Andrew Beveridge, Chief Executive Officer for eCOGRA. “One of CasinoAffiliatePrograms.com’s premier certified partners, Fortune Affiliates is one of the largest, oldest and most respected groups in the Microgaming family and fully deserving of being the first affiliate programme awarded with the prestigious eCOGRA seal,” said Louis Fabiano, President for CasinoAffiliatePrograms.com.
